  1. Deposit Operations Expertise – strong knowledge of :-
  • Account opening and maintenance
  • Customer information management (CIF)
  • Signature and mandate controls
  • Deposit products and services
  • Transaction processing and authorization controls
  • Custody and document management
  • Ability to oversee end-to-end deposit processing operations.
  1. Strong Leadership Skills and Department Management
  • Drive service excellence and operational efficiency.
  • Coach and develop managers and staff.
  • Manage workforce planning and capacity requirements.
  • Foster engagement, accountability and high performance.
  • Drive training, competency development and succession planning.
  1. Risk Management & Internal Controls
  • Maintain strong first-line-of-defense ownership.
  • Lead incident management and root cause analysis.
  1.  Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge
  • Good knowledge of statutory requirements and/or related rules on:
  • Anti-Money Laundering / Countering the Financing of Terrorism requirements
  • Know Your Customer / Customer Due Diligence standards
  • Deposit-related regulations
  • Data privacy requirements

    5.  Operational Excellence & Process Improvement

  • Identify process inefficiencies and drive simplification.
  • Promote standardization before automation
  • Lead Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
  1. Transformation & Change Management (Added Advantage)
  • Lead system implementations/enhancements and operational migration.
  • Manage readiness for digital tools and process changes.
  • Guide teams through organizational and technological transformation.
