Job Responsibilities:
Payment Product Manager will be responsible for
- Product Strategy and Development
- Develop, manage, commercialize, and roll out payment specific products and services in all Asia Pacific countries.
- Formulate and implement payment growth strategies for different industry verticals/client segments.
- Define and execute the payment product roadmap aligned with client needs, digitization goals, growth strategy, operational efficiency, and regulatory requirements.
- Design scalable payment and collection solutions tailored to APAC’s regional and country-specific needs.
- Lead product definition, scope, and delivery, ensuring alignment with the payment product capability and payment transformation program.
- Be domain expert handling all aspects of product planning including product approval, product design, process planning, legal documentation, and providing RFP, pre-sales and post-sales support to Sales teams.
2. Product Excellence and Commercialization
- Work with regional and local teams to define and refine product offering in line with market, client and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the commercialization of payment capabilities, ensuring value-added solutions address client pain points.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Service, and Country Stakeholders to understand market, regulatory and client requirements.
- Drive product delivery by collaborating with IT and subject matter experts to establish timelines and ensure execution excellence.
- Drive product readiness for client and internal teams by collaboration with Head office, Operations, Implementation, Service, Sales, Cross functional teams, and country stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is must.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in transaction banking payments product function; experience with product development and delivery within APAC region.
- Strong knowledge of payment and collection products, including various domestic and cross border payment across APAC.
- Experience with cash management business and payment processes.
- Prior experience in developing and launching new products.
- Familiarity with payment platforms and experience of working with Fintech is added advantage.
- Customer-focused mindset with exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to conduct workshops and effectively present to diverse audiences.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and proficiency in English.
- Ability to collaborate across functions and influence at all organizational levels.
