The role is responsible for executing and managing marketing and planning activities for non-Japanese corporate clients, with accountability for proposal quality, coordination, and execution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, managing, and reporting on solution-based sales initiatives, including coordination with securities-related group companies
  • To lead the short/mid-long term strategic planning and team organization designing of the team and coverage sector with collaborating with solutions teams, leveraging deep understanding of each relevant team/dept role
  • To define the scope of work in the team based on the above strategy and shift through the various tasks
  • Independently conceptualizing marketing and planning initiatives, including drafting proposal content and submitting recommendations to management for approval
  • Acting as a central coordinator across internal stakeholders, including coverage teams , planning units, product teams, and relevant headquarters departments outside Singapore, group companies
  • Conducting direct marketing and sales activities targeting non-Japanese corporate clients across Asia, as well as Japanese corporate clients where relevant
  • Taking responsibility for proposal volume targets and contributing to the achievement of overall group KPIs
  • Continuously monitoring market, client, and peer developments within assigned countries and reflecting insights into proposal planning and execution
  • To communicate with senior internal counterparties in the relevant departments to achieve the goal
  • To build up regular communication channel with local country corporate banking teams across Asia for the effective marketing
  • To provide in-office education to junior colleagues to upskill their marketing and planning skillset

 Key requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Law, Marketing, Accounting or Finance
  • Knowledge of financial/management accounting and banking regulations within Asian countries
  • At least 5 years of experience in corporate banking, preferably with Japanese banking experience
  • Business fluency in both English and Japanese is essential, as this role requires the ability to write and communicate effectively with our Tokyo office.
