- Deal origination:
- Maintain close relationship with existing clients and develop new relationships
- Pro-actively engage with clients to originate business across the entire product suite of the Bank – Trade products (LC, BG, Bill discounting, Export Finance), Cash Management, Account Bank, FX & Derivatives, Treasury services including remittances and hedges, Project Finance and Structured Finance products and any other products that provide appropriate solution to customer needs.
- Actively pitch new financing ideas / tailored financial solutions to clients by leveraging on industry knowledge, expertise and risk assessment.
- Identity and monitor market developments and opportunities including but not limited to business matching opportunities with global relationship clients
- Deal execution:
- Lead execution process: review / preparation of credit proposals, review financial models, structuring and negotiation of Term Sheet, documentation and disbursement.
- Liaise with various internal, external stakeholders (banks, advisors, legal firms etc.) and clients as necessary
- Guide junior members on origination and execution process
- Assist in advisory mandates when selected and prepare materials for client with regards to deal execution
